Perfection

Loved sleeping in the bus and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs at the beach, watching the otters do their thing for hours. A perfect day in Seward!

Wonderful Stay at Salted Roots

Thank you for allowing our family to stay in the Bus house, the kids thought it was absolutely the coolest thing! Everything was perfect, the beds were comfy, house was nice and warm and amenities were great. We loved the Sauna and access to the beach! If we ever make it back to Alaska, we will be back to Salted Roots!

Amazing stay!

We had the best night at Salted Roots! We stayed in the Yellow Cabin with the bus, and it was such a unique and cozy experience. Everything was incredibly clean, and we absolutely loved the thoughtful decor. It felt like a perfect blend of comfort, luxury and style. The special Alaskan treat left for us was such a nice touch. Having the beach and views just across the street was a dream, such a peaceful spot to relax and take in the scenery. The amenities were awesome, and the overall luxury vibe made the whole stay feel extra special. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stylish, Alaskan getaway with all the right details! Well done!

A very unique setting, quiet and out of the busy town site. Access to the beach and walking trails. The wood fired sauna was a welcome comfort after a day of walking around Seward. Being able to go up and down steep stairs is necessary to access the upstairs bedroom and the main “living room”. The bathroom is outside the main living space but is not a problem at all. This was my second time staying at Salted Roots and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

It was the little things

Not only was the yellow door bud cabin, so cute, clean, and unique, i appreciated all the details like the local artwork, the artisanal chocolate bar left for us, and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and nice. There were also patio games, books, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. They were very thorough in their consideration for what we would need for a stay. Highly recommend.
